College: That New Chapter in Life

Turn the page, hear the crinkle of the pages, and stare, just stare, at that new chapter staring back at you. Just like in any good book, you approach this new chapter with apprehension and excitement. What is going to happen next? How is the plot going to twist? Or is it just gonna more boring nonsense?

For the next four years or so, I am going to be reading the same chapter: "College". Definitely one the most exciting chapters in my book, I can't wait to dive into the pages and figure out the plot.

In a way I've already dove in, gotten my feet wet. I can't seem to slow the process down. Day after exciting day seems to fly by and I've already been through two months or so of school. Spring semester approaches faster than I thought it would.

I've got this long road spread out before me. I feel like a sprinter with ginormous lungs, that can't get tired. I want to walk through this chapter. Yet I sprint as if I don't want to be here. I want to be here! I want to take my time! This is my only life, why do I sprint to the finish line?

I'm upstairs, sitting in the Mac Cafe writing this blog post. I've got mountains of homework before me, but I'm taking the time to say, "I'm taking my time, I'm gonna enjoy this, down to the very last English essay..."

Come, walk with me, and enjoy it too.
