Enjoy Today

How many times do you go through your day, and get to the end of it, and think,"what if today was my last day to live, did I enjoy today?"

Sadly most people answer this question with,"how many fun, naughty, dangerous things can I do today?!?!?!" I admit that I am guilty of this...

Yet I want to be different than most. I want to really enjoy today. I don't want to die with a burden on my chest because of all the naughty, not-who-I-really-am things I that did on my last day. You might say,"So? You are dead!"
True.

Yet when I stand in the presence of Almight God, I want to know that I enjoyed my last day like He would have wanted me to.

Your response? "Heck, that's one boring day!!!"

Not so. Because I will be spending eternity knowing that I enjoyed my last day here on this planet enjoying who God is and what He has done and will do for me. I want to take advantage of the opportunities that are brought my way. I want to love all around of me. I want to take advantage of every minute. I want to enjoy where God has me at that moment. I want to live in the present, not in the past or in the future, but the present. The present is what is here and I can't change the past or predict the future. Thus, that is how I will enjoy today.

So, my challenge to you-
Enjoy Today.
Don't waste away the minutes.
Embrace where God has you, not me or him or her, but YOU.
Enjoy Today.
Today is too great a gift to throw aside.
Enjoy Today.
